The Kimber 2K11 is a hammer fired, single action semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm. The 2K11 represents Kimber's modern high capacity platform, using a short recoil, locked breech action feeding from double stack magazines. The pistol uses a steel slide paired with a machined aluminum grip module, reducing overall weight while maintaining rigidity. The slide is optics ready, milled to accept micro red dot sights. The 2K11 incorporates a frame mounted ambidextrous thumb safety, beavertail grip safety, and an accessory rail on the dust cover. The trigger is Kimber's GT match grade trigger, designed for a clean, consistent pull. The grip module features aggressive machined texturing for positive purchase.
