Izhmash Saiga SGL31-61 5.45x39, Arsenal Las Vegas Conversion, Legion Marked

The Saiga SGL31 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.45x39 manufactured by Izhmash (now Kalashnikov Concern) in Izhevsk, Russia. The SGL31 series is built on the AK-74M platform, with the receiver, trunnion, chrome lined hammer forged barrel, bolt carrier, and gas piston all manufactured in Russia at the Izhmash factory. These rifles were imported in a sporting configuration and converted to a standard AK military configuration by Arsenal Inc. of Las Vegas, Nevada prior to sale. The operating system uses a rotating bolt driven by a gas piston, feeding from standard AK-74 pattern magazines.

This example is a Legion marked SGL31-61 rifle, produced during Arsenal Inc.'s earlier import and conversion period before FIME Group took over importation of Saiga rifles. The rifle is configured with a fixed polymer stock and an Arsenal SAW style pistol grip, and is fitted with a standard AK muzzle brake with side ports. Accompanied by one 10-round magazine, original box, original pistol grip, test target, and documentation.
