The IMEZ Baikal IJ70-18AH is a commercial export version of the Russian Makarov pistol produced by the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant (IMEZ) in Russia. The pistol follows the traditional Makarov pattern with a fixed barrel and straight blowback operating system combined with a double action/single action trigger and slide mounted safety/decocker. These pistols were produced primarily for export markets during the 1990s and are commonly marked with the Baikal branding used for IMEZ commercial firearms.

The IJ70-18AH represents the high capacity commercial variant of the Makarov platform. Unlike the original military PM pistol which used a single stack magazine, the IJ70-18AH incorporates a widened grip frame and double stack magazine. The pistol retains the core mechanical layout of the Makarov design including the fixed barrel, all steel construction, and slide mounted safety while adding adjustable rear sights and the wider grip frame associated with the commercial export models. Original box and accessories included.
