The HK USP Compact is a semi automatic pistol developed as a reduced size variant of the USP platform, chambered in .40 S&W and built around a short recoil operating system with Browning type tilting barrel. The design incorporates HK’s recoil reduction system with a captive recoil spring assembly and polymer buffer, along with a modular control system. The pistol uses a paddle style magazine release integrated into the trigger guard and retains the control layout of the USP series.

This example is equipped with HK’s LEM (Law Enforcement Modification) trigger system, a pre cocked double action system that provides a consistent trigger pull while retaining a hammer fired mechanism. The pistol features a stainless steel slide paired with a black polymer frame, along with a polygonal rifled barrel and internal safeties including a firing pin block and safety intercept notch. Accompanied by case and three LE-restricted magazines.
