High Standard produced a series of pump action shotguns at their Hamden, Connecticut facility from the late 1960s through the mid-1970s, marketed under designations including the K-120, K-1200, and Flite King. These shotguns use a side ejecting steel receiver with dual action bars and a bottom loading tubular magazine. The riot configuration features an 18 inch cylinder bore barrel intended for law enforcement and defensive applications.

This example does not bear a model marking, but is chambered in 12 gauge with a 2 3/4 inch chamber and fitted with an 18 inch barrel. The left side of the barrel is marked "HIGH STANDARD HAMDEN. CONN. U.S.A." and the right side is marked "PROOF TESTED 12GA 2 3/4 CHAMBER". It is fitted with a wood stock and corn cob forend. No original box or accessories included.
