The Glock 32 is a compact semi automatic pistol chambered in .357 Sig, occupying the same frame size as the Glock 19 and Glock 23. The pistol operates on Glock's Safe Action system, a striker fired mechanism incorporating three passive safeties -- a trigger safety, firing pin safety, and drop safety. The .357 Sig cartridge is a bottlenecked round developed jointly by SIG Sauer and Federal Premium, designed to replicate the terminal performance of the 125 grain .357 Magnum revolver load in a semi automatic platform. The Glock 32's barrel and chamber dimensions are specific to the .357 Sig cartridge, though the pistol shares its frame and slide dimensions with the Glock 23 & 19.
