The Franchi Fenice is a lightweight semi-automatic shotgun manufactured in Spain by Franchi, part of the Benelli/Beretta group. The shotgun operates on the Inertia Driven system, a recoil operated mechanism using a two piece bolt assembly with an inertia spring to cycle the action. This system eliminates gas ports and pistons, contributing to the Fenice's notably low weight. The Fenice is positioned as a premium upland model in the Franchi lineup, distinguished by its aluminum alloy receiver with a silver satin finish, gold game bird inlays on both sides of the receiver, and scroll engraving throughout. The fore-end and stock are AA grade satin finished walnut, with a Prince of Wales style grip and cut checkering.
