The Franchi Affinity 3 is a semi-automatic shotgun that operates on Benelli's Inertia Driven system, a recoil operated design utilizing a two piece bolt assembly with an inertia spring to cycle the action. The absence of a gas system eliminates ports, pistons, and associated maintenance, while contributing to the Affinity 3's light overall weight. The Waterfowl Elite variant is purpose configured for waterfowl hunting, featuring a cobalt Cerakote finish on the aluminum alloy receiver and barrel for enhanced corrosion resistance in wet environments. The stock and forend are covered in Gore Optifade Waterfowl Timber camouflage, a pattern designed around ungulate vision science to disrupt the outline of the shooter in flooded timber and marsh environments. The Waterfowl Elite model also features an oversized round bolt release button, stepped ventilated rib, fiber optic front sight, and a synthetic stock with Franchi's TSA recoil pad. The shotgun uses Franchi's interchangeable choke tube system.

This example is chambered in 12 gauge and fitted with a 28 inch barrel. A Modified (3 notch) choke tube is installed. The length of pull measures 14.25 inches. No original box or accessories included.
