The Dan Wesson Valor Commander Bobtail, designated the V-Bob, is a single action, semi-automatic pistol built on a compact 1911 Commander platform. Manufactured by Dan Wesson, a division of CZ-USA, the V-Bob combines a 4.25-inch barrel with a forged steel frame featuring a bobtail grip profile, which rounds and shortens the lower rear corner of the grip frame to reduce printing and improve concealability. The slide and frame are forged from carbon steel. The barrel uses a conventional barrel bushing configuration. The pistol is equipped with a U-notch rear sight paired with a front night sight, a match grade trigger, 25 LPI checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing, and slim profile G10 grips. 

This example is chambered in 9mm and features the black Duty finish on the frame and slide. It has been fitted with stainless Wilson Combat controls, including an extended thumb safety, extended slide stop, and extended magazine release. Accompanied by original soft case and four 7-round magazines, two of which are Dan Wesson magazines.
