The CZ Shadow 2 is a full size steel frame pistol developed for competition use, particularly within IPSC and USPSA Production divisions. Based on the CZ 75 operating system, the pistol uses a slide in frame design that lowers the bore axis and increases slide to frame contact for improved stability during cycling. The Shadow 2 incorporates an extended beavertail, aggressive front and rear slide serrations, and a checkered steel frame with a pronounced undercut trigger guard to allow a higher firing grip.

The pistol features a cold hammer forged barrel, double action/single action trigger system, and extended magazine release intended for competition handling. This example has been cut for the Dawson Precision Optic (DPO) plate system and includes a DPO RMR mounting plate with integrated rear iron sight. The DPO system allows interchangeable plates so the slide can be configured for different optic footprints while retaining a rear sight mounted on the plate itself. Original case and three magazines included.
