The CZ Shadow 2 Orange is the top-tier competition variant of the CZ 75 Shadow 2 platform, chambered in 9mm. Built on a full steel frame with an extended dust cover, the design maximizes weight forward of the trigger guard to reduce muzzle rise and improve shot-to-shot recovery. Both the Shadow 2 and Shadow 2 Orange use the CZ 75 double action/single action fire control system with an ambidextrous manual safety. The Orange variant builds on the Shadow 2 with a number of refinements: a stainless steel barrel bushing for improved lockup and accuracy, a hand-fitted match grade barrel, a tuned single action trigger with reduced travel and overtravel, and polished internal action components with lightened springs optimized for competition loads. The frame features checkered front and backstrap surfaces for a secure, consistent grip under recoil.
