The CZ 550 is a bolt action sporting rifle manufactured by Ceska zbrojovka in Uherský Brod, Czech Republic. The CZ 550 is built on a true Mauser type controlled feed action with a full length non-rotating claw extractor, fixed blade ejector, and a square bridge receiver. The bolt features dual front locking lugs and cocks on opening. The receiver is machined from a single billet of steel, with an integral recoil lug and a dovetail milled into the top of the receiver for CZ style scope ring mounting. The CZ 550 feeds from a detachable box magazine and incorporates a single set trigger mechanism, allowing the shooter to push the trigger forward to engage a light, crisp set trigger pull for precision shooting, or to fire the rifle using the standard trigger pull without setting.

This example is chambered in .243 Winchester and features a 20 inch threaded barrel. No front or rear sights are present. The rifle is equipped with a walnut stock with cut checkering at the pistol grip and forend. No original box or accessories included.
