The CZ 527 Varmint is a bolt action rifle produced by Ceska Zbrojovka in Uhersky Brod, Czech Republic, built on the CZ 527 mini Mauser action. The 527 action features a rear locking lug bolt with a 60 degree throw, a claw extractor for controlled round feed, a fixed blade ejector, and a single set trigger that allows the shooter to set the trigger to a light pull by pushing the trigger forward before firing, or to fire conventionally at the standard pull weight. The receiver is grooved with a 16mm dovetail for scope ring mounting. The rifle feeds from a detachable box magazine and incorporates a two position thumb safety on the right side of the receiver.

This example is chambered in .204 Ruger and features a 26 inch heavy profile barrel with a blued finish. The stock is Turkish walnut in a varmint configuration with a straight comb and square pistol grip. The receiver is fitted with 1 inch scope rings. No magazine, original box, or accessories included.
