The CZ 527 is a bolt action rifle designed and manufactured by Ceska zbrojovka in Uhersky Brod, Czech Republic. Built as a miniature Mauser type action, the 527 employs controlled round feed with a non-rotating claw extractor and a fixed blade ejector. The action incorporates a single set trigger, which functions as a standard single stage trigger under normal use and can be set to a lighter pull by pushing the trigger forward until it clicks. A two position safety is located on the right side of the receiver behind the bolt handle. The receiver is machined from steel and features an integral 16mm dovetail rail for scope mounting. The 527 feeds from detachable box magazines. 

This example is the 527M Carbine variant chambered in 7.62x39mm, configured with an 18.5 inch barrel with a 1:9.5 inch twist rate and a carbine length Turkish walnut stock with checkering at the pistol grip and forend. The rifle is equipped with a hooded front sight fitted with a red fiber optic blade and a scout style rear sight base with a notched rear sight. The barreled action is finished in polished blue. Accompanied by four magazines, no original box or additional accessories included.
