The CZ 1911A1 is a limited edition full size single action semi automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, produced by CZ (Ceska Zbrojovka) in a run of roughly 1000 units. These pistols represent CZ's interpretation of the classic M1911A1 Government Model pattern. The CZ 1911A1 follows the traditional Browning short recoil, locked breech operating system with a swinging link barrel. Built on a forged carbon steel frame and slide with a blue finish, the pistol incorporates standard M1911A1 features including a thumb safety, grip safety, and arched mainspring housing. The fire control group uses a checkered spur hammer and a solid trigger. The slide features rear cocking serrations and a lowered ejection port. Sights consist of a dovetail mounted blade front sight and a fixed rear sight. The frame is fitted with a serrated slide stop, serrated magazine release, and checkered wood grips.
