The Colt Delta Elite is a full-size Government Model 1911 chambered in 10mm Auto. Built on a stainless steel frame and slide, it retains the traditional 5-inch barrel length and Series 80 firing system with firing pin safety. The single-action trigger system is consistent with the 1911 design, and safety features include both a manual thumb safety and grip safety.

The pistol uses a standard recoil spring system and is compatible with most Government Model 1911 components. Black composite grip panels with Delta medallion are factory installed. This configuration is supplied with two 8-round magazines.
