The Colt 1911 Wiley Clapp TALO Edition is a full size, single action semi automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, produced as a TALO Distributors exclusive. The pistol is a collaboration with noted firearms authority Wiley Clapp, incorporating his specifications for a practical carry and duty oriented 1911 built with enhanced features over a standard Government Model. Built on a forged carbon steel frame and slide with a blue finish, the pistol uses a Series 70 firing system without the additional components of the Series 80 firing pin block, resulting in a cleaner trigger pull. The barrel is a 5 inch National Match grade barrel, providing tighter tolerances and improved accuracy over a standard barrel. The pistol is fitted with a brass bead blade front sight and a Novak extra wide rear sight dovetailed into the slide. The fire control group includes a long solid aluminum trigger and a ring style hammer. The frame is configured with a high sweep beavertail grip safety, a standard thumb safety, and a flat 25LPI checkered mainspring housing, and 25LPI front strap high trigger guard undercut. The slide features rear cocking serrations and a lowered and flared ejection port.

This example is Model O1991T. It is fitted with checkered grip panels that incorporate finger groove checkering on the sides and bears a "WCB" serial suffix. Accompanied by one magazine and original box.
