Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless .32 ACP, MFG 1918

The Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless is a semi automatic pistol chambered in .32 ACP, designed by John Moses Browning and manufactured by Colt's Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Company from 1903 through 1945. Despite its name, the pistol is not truly hammerless but features a concealed hammer enclosed within the slide, producing a smooth, snag free profile suited to pocket carry. The pistol operates on a simple blowback action with a single action trigger mechanism. The frame incorporates a grip safety on the backstrap and a thumb safety on the left side of the frame. The barrel is fixed to the frame and the pistol feeds from a single stack 8-round magazine retained by a heel mounted magazine release at the base of the grip.

This example was manufactured in 1918 and is fitted with hard rubber grips featuring checkering, the rampant Colt horse motif, and "COLT" marking. Accompanied by one 8-round two tone magazine, no original box or accessories included.
