ATM/Century Arms Model 1960 Milled AK 7.62x39
The Century Arms Model 1960 is a semi-automatic AK pattern rifle chambered in 7.62x39, built on a milled steel receiver. The rifle was assembled by ATM (Advanced Technology Manufacturing) of Fridley, Minnesota for Century Arms International. The Model 1960 designation denotes the milled receiver configuration, distinguishing it from Century's stamped receiver AKM variants. Milled AK receivers are machined from steel forgings rather than formed from sheet metal, resulting in a heavier and more rigid platform with the characteristic lightening cuts on each side of the receiver body. The rifle uses the standard AK long stroke gas piston operating system with a rotating bolt.
This example is configured with traditional wood furniture including a fixed wood stock, wood handguards, and a wood pistol grip. The rifle is fitted with a slant muzzle brake and cleaning rod. Accompanied by one 30-round bolt hold open magazine, no original box or accessories included.
