The Calico M-100S is a blowback-operated .22 LR carbine built around the model’s signature helical-feed system. The S (sporter) configuration pairs the M-100 feeding platform with a wooden thumbhole stock for a traditional shoulder index and an elongated sight radius compared with compact variants.

This example retains the top-mounted 100-round helical magazine and a steel bolt running in a cast-aluminum receiver, and is fitted with fixed iron sights as-configured. Controls follow the original M-100 ergonomics and layout; the wooden thumbhole stock and matching forend provide a distinct appearance compared with synthetic-stocked examples. The design is notable for prolonged firing between reloads enabled by the high-capacity helical magazine.
