The Beretta PX4 Storm is a semi-automatic pistol introduced in 2004 and built around a short-recoil rotating barrel locking system, a design derived from the earlier Beretta Cougar series. Instead of tilting during the firing cycle, the barrel rotates to unlock from the slide, directing recoil forces more linearly through the frame and reducing muzzle rise. The pistol uses a polymer frame with steel inserts, interchangeable backstraps, and an integrated Picatinny rail for mounting accessories.

The full size PX4 incorporates ambidextrous slide mounted safety/decocker levers, a reversible magazine release, and a double action/single action trigger system. The rotating barrel mechanism and open internal slide geometry differentiate the PX4 from many other contemporary service pistols. This example uses a stainless Inox slide paired with a black polymer frame and black barrel, creating the distinctive two tone stainless configuration associated with the Inox variant. No original box or accessories included.
