1995 Browning Hi-Power 9mm, Adjustable Irons
The Browning Hi-Power is a single action semi-automatic pistol designed by John Moses Browning and Dieudonné Saive, originally produced by Fabrique Nationale d'Armes de Guerre (FN) in Herstal, Belgium. It operates on a short recoil, locked breech system with a linkless cam locking arrangement and feeds from a 13-round double stack magazine. The design incorporates a single action trigger, external hammer, frame mounted thumb safety, and magazine disconnect safety. During certain production periods, some Hi-Powers were assembled in Portugal using Belgian manufactured components, maintaining the same parts and production standards as fully Belgian assembled examples.
This example was manufactured in 1995, indicated by an NV date code. It is fitted with an adjustable rear sight and the corresponding ramped front sight blade designed to pair with the adjustable rear assembly, along with checkered walnut grips and a polished blued finish. Accompanied by one 13-round magazine and original box.
