The Browning Citori is an over/under shotgun manufactured by Miroku in Kochi, Japan, for Browning. Introduced in 1973, the Citori is built on a boxlock action with a full width hinge pin and tapered locking bolt. The Grade 3 Lightning is an upgraded variant featuring a grayed steel receiver with high relief engraving depicting game birds and scrollwork. The Lightning configuration uses a slender, rounded forend profile and a rounded pistol grip. The stock and forend are gloss finished Grade III walnut with cut checkering. The shotgun is equipped with a single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, and a tang mounted safety with integral barrel selector. The barrels are fitted with a ventilated top rib and a silver bead front sight.
