Browning Citori Grade I Hunting 20 Gauge, 28" Barrels, Fixed Chokes, MFG 1981

The Browning Citori is an over/under shotgun manufactured by Miroku in Kochi, Japan, for Browning. Introduced in 1973, the Citori is built on a boxlock action with a full width hinge pin and tapered locking bolt. The Grade I Hunting is the standard field grade configuration, featuring a blued steel receiver with scroll engraving, a single selective trigger, and automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted with a ventilated top rib and a silver bead front sight. Early production Citori Hunting models were manufactured with fixed choke barrels, predating Browning's adoption of the Invector interchangeable choke tube system. The stock and forend are gloss finished walnut with cut checkering, with the forend in a field style profile featuring a lengthwise finger groove.

This example was manufactured in 1981 and is chambered in 20 gauge with 3 inch chambers and 28 inch fixed choke barrels. The top barrel is choked full and the bottom barrel is choked modified. The length of pull measures 13 inches. No original box or accessories included.
