Browning BPS Field 10 Gauge, 28" Barrels

The Browning BPS (Browning Pump Shotgun) is a pump action shotgun introduced by Browning in 1977, designed with a bottom loading, bottom ejecting action that makes the platform equally suited for left and right handed shooters. The BPS uses a machined steel receiver, dual action bars for smooth and reliable cycling, and a top mounted tang safety. The bottom ejection design keeps the action enclosed from the elements and directs spent hulls downward rather than to the side. The BPS Field model in 10 gauge was introduced to provide a magnum bore option for waterfowl and turkey hunters, chambered for 3.5 inch shells. The 10 gauge BPS is built on a larger frame than its 12 gauge counterpart, with proportionally heavier construction throughout. Both sides of the receiver feature engraved game bird scenes surrounded by floral scroll work.

This example is chambered in 10 gauge with a 3.5 inch chamber and fitted with a 28 inch barrel. It is configured with a black synthetic stock and forend. Three standard Browning Invector choke tubes are included: Full, Improved Cylinder, and Modified. No original box or accessories included.
