Browning BL-22 Grade II Maple AAA .22, Satin Nickel Receiver, 20" Barrel

The Browning BL-22 is a lever action rimfire rifle chambered for .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle cartridges interchangeably. Introduced in 1970, the BL-22 was designed as a compact, lightweight rimfire sporting rifle with a short throw lever that requires only 33 degrees of travel to fully cycle the action, allowing rapid operation with minimal hand movement. The action uses an exposed hammer and feeds from a full length tubular magazine housed beneath the barrel. The BL-22 has remained in continuous production for over five decades and is manufactured by Miroku in Japan for Browning. The Grade II designation within the BL-22 lineup denotes an upgraded level of finish, featuring engraved receiver panels and select wood furniture.

This example is fitted with a 20 inch blued barrel, a satin nickel finished steel receiver with scroll engraving on both sides, and AAA grade maple stock and forend. The lever, barrel band, and other controls are finished in polished blue, providing contrast against the lighter toned receiver and maple wood. The trigger is gold colored. Sights consist of a blade front sight and a folding leaf rear sight. The tubular magazine holds 15 rounds of .22 Long Rifle, with higher capacities for .22 Short and .22 Long. Original box included.
