The Browning Citori 725 Sporting is a competition oriented over/under shotgun manufactured by Miroku in Kochi, Japan, for Browning. The 725 platform, introduced in 2012, features a lower profile receiver than previous Citori generations, positioning the barrels closer to the shooter's hands. The action uses a full width hinge pin and tapered locking bolt. The 725 Sporting is configured for sporting clays and general clay target use, equipped with ported barrels featuring a ventilated top rib and Browning's Invector-DS back bored choke tube system. The 725 Sporting is fitted with Browning's Fire Lite mechanical trigger, a single selective design with adjustable positioning that allows the shooter to modify the effective length of pull. The shotgun is equipped with automatic ejectors, a tang mounted safety with integral barrel selector, and a HiViz Pro-Comp front sight paired with an ivory mid bead.

This example was manufactured in 2014 and is fitted with 32 inch ported barrels. Four Invector-DS choke tubes are included: two Improved Modified, one Improved Cylinder, and one Skeet. The stock is oil finished walnut with cut checkering, an adjustable comb, and an Inflex II recoil pad, paired with a thin profile Schnabel forend. The receiver is finished in satin silver.
