The Browning Hi-Power was developed at Fabrique Nationale (FN) in Herstal, Belgium, entering production in 1935. It uses a short recoil, locked breech operating system with a single action trigger and a double column magazine. The Mk III variant, introduced in 1988, features checkered polymer grips, ambidextrous thumb safeties, an external extractor, fixed notch rear and blade front sights, improved feed ramp geometry for enhanced reliability with hollow point ammunition, a 13-round magazine, and a magazine disconnect safety.

This example features a black epoxy finish over the steel frame and slide with a stainless steel barrel, and an NV serial date code corresponding to 1995 production. Original case and one magazine included.
