The Browning Hi-Power Mk III is a later production variant of the Hi-Power series, incorporating manufacturing and durability updates introduced during the Mk II and Mk III generations. This example features the characteristic black epoxy finish applied over the steel frame and slide along with a stainless barrel. The pistol retains the traditional single action operating system and fixed sight arrangement associated with the later commercial Hi-Power models.

The Mk III revision incorporated a number of practical improvements over earlier Hi-Power variants, including a cast frame for increased strength, improved feed ramp geometry to better accommodate modern hollow point ammunition, and ambidextrous thumb safeties. These updates represent the mature service configuration of the design after decades of military and commercial production, maintaining the original double column magazine system developed by Dieudonné Saive while adapting the pistol for modern service ammunition and use. Original case and one magazine included.
