The Hi-Power uses a steel frame and slide with a single action trigger and short recoil locked breech system. The pistol feeds from a double stack magazine and uses a frame mounted thumb safety and external extractor. Late production commercial examples retained the classic profile and control layout associated with earlier Hi-Power pistols.

This pistol dates to 2014 production based on the serial number date code. These later guns were produced near the end of original Hi-Power manufacturing and closely follow the configuration and finish of earlier commercial models. Accompanied by factory box, lock, and one magazine.
