The Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 is a semi-automatic shotgun operating on Benelli's inertia driven system. The inertia system uses a two piece bolt assembly with a rotating bolt head and an inertia spring, eliminating the need for gas ports, pistons, or o-rings. The Super Black Eagle 3 is chambered for 3.5 inch magnum shells and cycles 2 3/4 inch, 3 inch, and 3.5 inch loads interchangeably without adjustment. The SBE3 features an Easy Locking bolt release, Combtech cheek pad integrated into the synthetic stock, and an enlarged loading port with a beveled receiver.

This example is the BE.S.T. (Benelli Surface Treatment) variant, which applies a proprietary ceramic based surface treatment to the barrel and steel components for corrosion resistance beyond traditional bluing. The receiver is black anodized aluminum alloy. The shotgun is configured with a black synthetic stock and forend and is fitted with a 28 inch barrel with a stepped ventilated rib and red bar front sight, threaded for Benelli Crio choke tubes with a Modified choke tube installed. The length of pull measures 14.25 inches. No original box or accessories included.
