The Benelli Montefeltro Super 90S is a semi automatic shotgun operating on Benelli's Inertia Driven system, a recoil operated mechanism that uses a two piece bolt assembly with an inertia spring to cycle the action. The absence of a gas system results in a mechanically simple and lightweight design. The Montefeltro features a blued finish on the barrel and anodized aluminum alloy receiver. The left hand variant is configured for left handed shooters with left side ejection.

This example is chambered in 12 gauge and is fitted with a 28 inch barrel with a ventilated rib and red front bar sight. The barrel has a fixed Modified choke. The shotgun is fitted with a checkered walnut forend and checkered walnut pistol grip stock, fitted with a Benelli plastic buttplate. A rounded charging handle is installed on the bolt. The length of pull measures 14 inches. The gun is not import marked, though it appears to bear a "RM 89" marking on barrel, underneath the forend. No original box or accessories included.
