Benelli Montefeltro Super 90 20 Gauge, HK Import, 24" Barrel

The Benelli Montefeltro Super 90 is a semi automatic shotgun operating on Benelli's Inertia Driven system, a recoil operated mechanism that uses a two piece bolt assembly with an inertia spring to cycle the action. The absence of a gas system results in a mechanically simple, lightweight, and easy to maintain design. The Montefeltro was introduced in 1987 as a traditionally styled field shotgun, featuring a walnut stock and forend with cut checkering and a blued finish on the barrel and aluminum alloy receiver. Early production Montefeltro Super 90 shotguns were imported into the United States by Heckler & Koch, which served as the exclusive U.S. importer for Benelli prior to Benelli USA being established under the Beretta group.

This example is chambered in 20 gauge, fitted with a 24 inch barrel with a fiber optic front bead. The receiver is marked with HK import markings, placing it within the Heckler & Koch importation period. The walnut stock and forend feature a satin finish with cut checkering. An Improved Cylinder choke tube is installed. The length of pull measures 14.25 inches.
