Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon III 12 Gauge, 28" Barrels, Schnabel Forend

The Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon III is an over/under shotgun manufactured by Beretta in Gardone Val Trompia, Italy. Positioned above the 686 Silver Pigeon I and II in Beretta's lineup, the 687 Silver Pigeon III is built on Beretta's low profile boxlock action with dual conical locking lugs and a replaceable hinge pin. The receiver is coin finished with detailed game scene engraving featuring birds and scrollwork, distinguishing it from the simpler scroll engraving found on the Silver Pigeon I. The barrels are fitted with a ventilated top rib and use Beretta's Mobilchoke interchangeable choke tube system. The shotgun is equipped with a single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, and a tang mounted safety with integral barrel selector. The stock and schnabel forend are oil finished walnut with cut checkering.

This example is chambered in 12 gauge with 28 inch barrels. The length of pull measures 14 5/8 inches. Accompanied by a complete set of five Mobilchoke tubes: Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Cylinder, as well as an additional gel buttpad. Original Beretta case included.
