The Beretta 687L Silver Pigeon is an over/under shotgun manufactured by Beretta in Gardone Val Trompia, Italy. Positioned above the 686 Silver Pigeon in Beretta's hierarchy, the 687 series features upgraded engraving and higher grade walnut, with the L, standing for Lusso or Luxury, variant taking it a step further. Built on Beretta's low profile boxlock action with dual conical locking lugs and a replaceable hinge pin, the 687L Silver Pigeon is fitted with a coin finished receiver bearing detailed game scene engravings of ducks and partridges. The barrels are equipped with a ventilated top rib and use Beretta's Mobilchoke interchangeable choke tube system. The shotgun is equipped with a single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, and a tang mounted safety with integral barrel selector. The stock and forend are select grade walnut with a gloss finish and cut checkering, with the forend in a Schnabel profile.
