The Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon Grade I Sporting is a sporting clays oriented over/under shotgun manufactured by Fabbrica d'Armi Pietro Beretta in Gardone Val Trompia, Italy. Built on Beretta's 686 low profile boxlock action with dual conical locking lugs engaging the monobloc barrel assembly, the Silver Pigeon I Sporting is configured for clay target use with longer barrels, a tapered top rib suited to sustained lead shooting, and the Optima-Bore HP interchangeable choke tube system with overbored barrels and lengthened forcing cones. The receiver is coin finished steel with floral scroll engraving throughout. The shotgun is fitted with a gold single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, and a front metal bead sight. The stock is oil finished walnut with cut checkering at the grip and fore-end, paired with a Schnabel style fore-end.

This example is fitted with 30 inch barrels currently choked with a flush fit Optima-Bore HP full choke tube in the top barrel and a flush-fit modified choke tube in the bottom barrel. The length of pull measures 14.5 inches. Accompanied by four additional extended Optima-Bore HP choke tubes in full, improved cylinder, improved modified, and cylinder constrictions, original hard case.
