The Beretta 686 Onyx is an over/under shotgun manufactured by Beretta in Gardone Val Trompia, Italy. Built on Beretta's 680 series low profile boxlock action with a replaceable hinge pin, the 686 Onyx is a field shotgun in Beretta's lineup. The action is designed with a narrow receiver profile that reduces overall weight and improves handling. The barrels are fitted with a ventilated top rib and use Beretta's Mobilchoke interchangeable choke tube system. The shotgun is equipped with a single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, and a tang mounted safety with integral barrel selector.

This example is chambered in 20 gauge with 3 inch chambers and 26.5 inch barrels. The receiver is stainless finished and is paired with a gold finished trigger. A Modified choke tube is installed in the top barrel and an Improved Cylinder choke tube is installed in the bottom barrel. The walnut stock features a pistol grip with cut checkering and a rubber buttpad, providing a length of pull of 14.5 inches. The Schnabel forend is walnut with cut checkering. No original box or accessories included.

Note: Checkering is missing diamonds throughout, small ding to edge of the forend latch cutout.
