The BRNO ZG47 is a bolt action sporting rifle manufactured by Zbrojovka Brno in Czechoslovakia. The ZG47 is built on a Mauser derived controlled feed action with dual front locking lugs, a non-rotating claw extractor, and a fixed blade ejector. The bolt cocks on opening and operates with a 90 degree throw. The receiver is machined steel, drilled and tapped for scope mounting, and feeds from an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate.

This example is chambered in .30-06 Springfield and features a 24 inch barrel. The receiver is marked "57," indicating 1957 production. The rifle is fitted with a walnut stock with a straight comb, schnabel forend tip, and checkering at the pistol grip and forend. Sights consist of a blade front sight and a folding rear sight. No original box or accessories included.
