The Auto-Ordnance Thompson 1911 is a full size, single action semi automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, manufactured by Auto-Ordnance. The pistol follows the 1911A1 pattern and operates on a short recoil, locked breech system with a swinging link barrel lockup. The frame and slide are constructed of carbon steel.

This example features a blued finish throughout on the carbon steel frame and slide. The pistol is fitted with an arched mainspring housing, an extended beavertail grip safety, thumb safety, fixed blade front sight, and fixed rear sight. It is equipped with Hogue wrap around rubber grips with finger grooves. The hammer has been slight bobbed to accommodate the beavertail grip safety. Accompanied by one 7-round magazine. No original box or accessories included.
