The AMT Automag II is a semi automatic pistol chambered in .22 Magnum (.22 WMR), manufactured by Arcadia Machine & Tool of Irwindale, California. Chambering the .22 Magnum cartridge in a semi automatic pistol presented engineering challenges due to the higher pressures and longer case length compared to .22 LR, and AMT addressed this with a delayed blowback operating system. The pistol is constructed entirely of stainless steel, with both the frame and slide machined from stainless. The Automag II was produced in several barrel length configurations, with the Compact variant using a shortened 3.375 inch barrel and a reduced capacity 7-round magazine compared to the longer barreled models. The pistol uses a frame mounted thumb safety and a single action trigger mechanism with an exposed hammer.

This example is the Compact variant with a 3.375 inch barrel, fitted with an adjustable rear sight and a ramp front sight. The frame and slide are finished in brushed stainless steel. Accompanied by one 7-round magazine, no original box or accessories included.
