Armscorp M14 7.62x51 NATO, USGI Parts

The M14 is a battle rifle adopted by the United States military in 1959 as a replacement for the M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, M3 submachine gun, and M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle. The rifle chambers the 7.62x51 NATO cartridge and uses a short stroke gas piston operating system with a rotating bolt, feeding from detachable box magazines. The design incorporates several evolutionary improvements over the M1 Garand from which it was derived, including the detachable box magazine, a flash hider, a bayonet lug, and an adjustable gas plug that allows the operator to regulate gas flow to the operating system. Armscorp of Baltimore, Maryland assembled commercial semi-automatic M14 variants using USGI surplus military components.

This example is assembled on an Armscorp receiver marked "U.S. Rifle 7.62 MM M14" with USGI surplus components. The rifle is configured with a walnut stock, standard M14 flash hider secured with a castle nut, and a bayonet lug. The rear sight is a USGI aperture type adjustable for both windage and elevation, paired with a blade front sight with protective ears. Accompanied by one 10-round magazine, no original box or accessories.
